SEEN: Snowy Sand Berms

Snow covers sand berms on the beach in Ocean Grove. The berms were created in late September to protect the dunes and boardwalk from Hurricane Jose as it made its way up the coast.

Police Seek Information About Neptune Death

Police are asking the public for information in the death of a 65-year-old man in the woods off Neptune Boulevard in Neptune Township. The badly burned body of the man, who authorities did not identify, was found on the evening of Thursday, Dec. 14, at a site frequented by members of the homeless community, according to the Monmouth County Prosecutor's Office. The death does not appear suspicious, and results of an autopsy and toxicological tests are pending, the county prosecutor said.
