Seniors and the disabled have until the end of the month to buy seasonal beach badges at $15. The price is expected to double to $30 on March 1, according to reports in the Asbury Park Press and the online outlet tapinto.net. The borough also raised the senior discount age from 62 to 65. Price hikes are also in store for adult seasonal badges and daily badges, with seasonal badges going from $55 to $70, and daily badges from $8 to $9.. The badges went on sale for the season on December 3, 2018. As of this morning, the Badge Fees page on the borough's website still showed the rates and criteria in effect since that date.
