Remember the dispute over whether a dress on the 'net was blue or gold? This image found in the woodwork of the Asbury Park boardwalk is another visual either/or: either the face of a dog or the face of a calf. Or it could just be the snrkful arrangement of whatever you want it to be. Have at it. And have fun.

 Clumps of charred plantings of ornamental grass line the sidewalk on the south side of Cookman Avenue between Grand and Heck avenues in Asbury Park on the morning of October 17. More plantings were burned on the other side of the healthy grasses seen at the top of the picture. In all, more than two dozen plantings were destroyed.
