Ocean Grove homeowners could receive notices for revaluation inspections in the next few weeks, according to a Neptune Township official. The inspections are mandated by the Monmouth County Assessment Demonstration Program and will determine "a more precise value of real estate," said Deputy Mayor Carol Rizzo, who notified property owners of the inspections by way of a statement on social media. Inspections will be done by Realty Data Services (RDS) Monday through Saturday between  9 a.m. and dusk, Rizzo said. RDS inspectors will carry photo identification. They will also wear shirts with the RDS logo and high visibility vests with the words "Property Inspector." According to Rizzo, interior inspections will be done in the presence of the homeowner or other authorized adult.
