Local beaches will admit children below teen-age free of charge this season.
Kids 11 and under will have free access to beaches in Avon, Manasquan, Ocean Grove, and Spring Lake.
Children 12 and under will be admitted without charge in Asbury Park and Bradley Beach.
Meanwhile, daily adult badge fees vary:
Asbury Park: $5, Monday through Friday; $7, weekends and holiday
Bradley Beach: $9
Manasquan: $9
Ocean Grove: $8
Spring Lake: $10
