The Neptune Township Committee is expected Monday to approve the purchase of tree gates for the West Lake Avenue Streetscape, which runs from the Asbury Circle at State Highway 35 east to the township's border with Asbury Park.
The approval will come as part of the consent agenda to be approved during the committee's regularly scheduled meeting on Monday night.
According to the agenda, the grates, supplied by Atlantic Plumbing Supply Company, cost $30,576 and will be paid for by funds from the Tree Preservation Trust Fund.
The regular committee meeting starts at 7 p.m. at the municipal complex, 25 Neptune Blvd. It will be preceded by an open workshop session at 6 p.m.
