Five Years After Sandy: The Remains of the Fishing Pier

The Ocean Grove fishing pier used to extend over the water, and there was a small hut used by fishing folk. That far end and the fishing hut were swept away by monster storm surge 24 hours before Superstorm Sandy made landfall near Atlantic City on Oct.29, 2012. Unlike the devastated boardwalk, the pier was never repaired.
