The National Weather Service (NWS) issued a coastal flood advisory for 7 tonight to 1 a.m. tomorrow.
High tide occurs at the Jersey Shore between 7:45 p.m. and 8:45 p.m., with wave heights between 4 ft. and 7 ft., the NWS said.
Locally, high tide at the Shark River Inlet is at 7:49 this evening.
Officials throughout coastal towns ask residents in flood-prone areas to be aware of rising water and to move their vehicles to higher ground.
