Pay is $10 an hour for a 40-hour week.
According to the county's web site, the field technician will work as a certified pesticide operator under the supervision of a mosquito control inspector/licensed pesticide applicator.
Duties include inspecting what the county calls "known mosquito habitats," "applying appropriate control" (spraying pesticide), and maintaining records of inspections and subsequent actions.
No previous experience is required, although a knowledge of basic biology/ecology is desirable.
Applicants must have a valid basic New Jersey driver license and a good driving record.
