Spring Lake Sets Beach, Pool Hours

The Memorial Day weekend and the unofficial start of summer is three months away, but it might feel a little closer: officials in Spring Lake have set hours for the 2017 beach and pool season.

Offices at the north and south ends of the beach open on May 27, and will be open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. through Sept. 4.

The main beaches only will be open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on weekends: May 27, 28, and 29; June 3 and 4, and June 10 and 11, conditions permitting.

All beaches will be open daily, June 17 to Sept. 4, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

South end lockers only will be open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. May 27 to June 16.

Starting June 17, the south end pool and lockers will be open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. through Sept. 4, conditions permitting. Adults only may swim laps from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m.

The north end pool and lockers will be open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. from May 27 to Sept. 5. Adults only may swim laps from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m.

On Sept. 6, 7, and 8, the north end pool and lockers will be open from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Between Sept. 9 and Oct. 1, the north end pool and lockers will be open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on weekends only: Sept. 9, 10, 16, 17, 23, 24, 30, and Oct. 1.

The south end pool and lockers will be open weekdays, Sept. 5 to Oct. 1, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and on weekends from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Beach and pool hours can change, depending on daily conditions.
