The annual Leonid meteor shower should be visible between midnight tonight and dawn tomorrow, according to published reports.
The National Weather Service is calling for partly cloudy skies and a nighttime low of 36.
The meteors are particles from comet Tempel-Tuttle but are called "Leonids" because they appear to come from the direction of the constellation Leo.
