Restaurants can resume indoor seating July 2, but only at up to 25-percent of capacity, Governor Phil Murphy announced today.
The announcement came a week after eateries were given the okay to serve out-of-doors only, and then as long as there was enough space between tables to allow for social distancing.
New Jersey continues to rebound from the COVID-19 outbreak. To date, 169,142 cases have been reported in the state, with 12,870 deaths, according to the state's COVID-19 information hub. Monmouth County has recorded 8,942 positive cases and 695 deaths.
