UPDATE: Region Could Get a Foot of Lake-Effect Snow

 The National Weather Service (NWS) bureau in Cleveland now forecasts up to a foot of lake-effect snow for the northern half of Erie County, including the lake shore. A winter weather advisory is in effect from 10 tonight to 4 a.m. Monday. 

In its advisory posted at 3:06 p.m., the NWS said travel could be very difficult, with hazardous conditions affecting the morning commute. The NWS advises slowing down and using caution while traveling. Call 511 or visit 511PA online for information about road and traffic conditions.
