Wind chills as low as 35 below zero have been reported this morning as Arctic air barrels through the region with winds gusting between 50- and 60 m.p.h. The "e" is running, but blowing snow has reduced visibility to 1/4 to 1/2 mile. The National Weather Service Cleveland discourages travel unless "absolutely necessary." Plummeting temperatures later today are expected to result in a flash freeze.
