The City of Erie is seeking to fill a position that combines creating, implementing, and marketing events that celebrate the city's diverse cultures. The title is Events Manager, but according to the city's post on social media the EM will also serve as the executive director of Cultures, Arts, Festivals and Events of Erie (CAFE), a 501(c)3 organization. CAFE is behind CelebrateErie, Lights Over Lake Erie, Sounds of Summer, and the 814 Concert Series. The official post says the events manager will "set the vision, lead strategy, and manage finances, marketing, fundraising, and planning and implementation of all CAFE events and programs."
The opening is posted on Indeed (dot) com, where salary is listed at $55,000 to $60,000 per year.
