The city might have had 30-below-zero wind chills around the holidays, but the coldest day of the year is yet to come, if past patterns play out. Longterm 30-year averages of climatological data show that the coldest day of the year hits northwest Pennsylvania after February 1, according to the National Weather Service Cleveland.
