Lay-up season for the Great Lakes ships has begun. The 767-foot, self-discharging lake freighter Kaye E. Barker is now parked at Donjon Shipbuilding & Repair, next to the Erie Maritime Museum, which reported its arrival by way of social media. The Kaye E. Barker is owned by the Interlake Steamship Company.
