Usually open once a week on Monday, Erie Free Store will be closed Monday, January 2 and Monday, January 9 before opening for the new year with something a little different. "Our volunteers are taking this time to rest, then we will reorganize the store and plan on how to make 2023 our best year yet!" the charity announced on social media. The store, located at the Elmwood Avenue Presbyterian Church, 2816 Elmwood Ave., is not accepting donations at this time but before it reopens will say which items are needed most.
