The historic Watson-Curtze Mansion will be closed from January 31 until March 1 for renovations, the Erie County Historical Society-Hagen History Center said by way of social media. While the society did not give details, it called the renovations "minor" and said the mansion during that time will be open only for special events and special event/wedding tours. The rest of the campus will remain open at the reduced admission of $8 per person. For more information, contact Kelly Bucci at (814) 860-1450 or events@eriehistory.org. The Hagen History Center is at 356 W 6th Street, telephone (814) 454-1813. Campus hours are Tuesday to Saturday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sunday, noon to 5 p.m. The campus is closed on Monday.
