The city's historic review commission anticipates a draft of its preservation plan for historic city buildings will be ready for review in late spring, commission member Chris Kinder said at the board's Monday, January 9 meeting. Some locations in the city are already on the National Register of Historic Places. The commission's plan, which will designate historic sites in the city as well as a strategy to preserve them, will be Erie's first.
