Neptune Township emergency officials want you to inspect your snowblower before use after a township resident's snowblower burst into flames upon startup the morning of March 22.
The resident pushed the machine away from his home and doused it with a fire extinguisher, aided by an off-duty township police officer, Neptune Township Office of Emergency Management said by way of social media.
Officials in the statement did not identify the make and model of the snowblower.
