A high wind advisory is in effect until noon Saturday as high pressure enters the region in the wake of the massive nor'easter that slammed the eastern seaboard Friday with a variety of weather that included near-hurricane force gusts and a mix of rain and snow.
Winds are northwest, 20 mph to 30 mph, with gusts up to 50 mph, the National Weather Service (NWS) said.
The area remains under a coastal flood warning until 3 p.m. Sunday.
