Belmar's annual Easter Egg Hunt will take place at the beachfront on Saturday, April 8, starting at 11 a.m.
The event is open to borough children ages 1 through 9.
There are different entrances for different age groups:
Ages 1 to 3: Fourth Avenue beach entrance;
Ages 4 to 7: Third Avenue beach entrance;
Ages 8 and 9: Second Avenue beach entrance.
According to the borough, more than 3,500 eggs will be buried in the sand on the Second Avenue beach. Two eggs in each age category will contain a ticket for a prize.
