Manasquan Needs Spring Clean-up Volunteers

Manasquan is looking for volunteers to help spruce up the borough on Saturday, April 1, from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Registration will be at Stockton Lake Partk, near the Little League fields.

The areas targeted for cleaning are Stockton Lake Park, Tassini Park, and between the elementary school and State Highway 71.

Only borough property is targeted. If you know of other bits of public property that need attention, email suggestions to the Manasquan Environmental Commission, ec@manasquan-nj(dot)com.

The clean-up will not include the railroad tracks, which are the property of New Jersey Transit.

If you volunteer, the environmental commission reminds you to dress appropriately and bring work gloves. Trash bags will be provided, and some litter pick-up sticks will be available. Light refreshments will also be provided.

Also, please bring non-perishable food for donation to the FoodBank of Monmouth and Ocean Counties.

Businesses who would like to donate materials or assistance to the clean-up are asked to email the commission at ec@manasquan-nj(dot)com.
