Experience with ADP payroll and a bachelor's degree in accounting are preferred but not mandatory.
The successful candidate should have the ability to process a semi-monthly payroll for around 300 full- and part-time employees; a working knowledge of ADP Payroll Workforce Now applications; the ability to calculate employee health benefits and pension contributions; the ability to reconcile bank accounts; the ability to post journal entries.
New Jersey government experience is preferred, along with a knowledge of New Jersey pensions, benefits, labor laws, and budget accounting rules and regulations.
